Gamers can’t seem to keep their hands off their PSP console these days.  Everywhere you look, people’s heads are bowed down, their fingers doing a crazy dance over their keypads as they play PSP games.  One of the reasons the PSP is so popular is because you can download a ton of PSP games from the internet virtually for free.  But as with all internet downloads, there are a few safety precautions of which to be aware.

Here are few things to remember when downloading games:

1. Check the source.  There are a lot of sites that offer free games but not all of them are trustworthy.
2. Make sure your antivirus programs are up to date. You want to make sure that no sneaky viruses get into your computer during the download.
3. Double check if the sites offer technical support. If something goes wrong after the download it’s nice to have support.
4. Limit your download to one game per session.  Remember, you don’t want to fill up your hard drive right away!

You can have hours and hours of endless gaming experiences; there’s no limit to the possibilities with the Sony PSP.

We’ve all been hearing about Blu-ray and high-definition televisions. But, what is blu-ray, really? Blu-ray is also known as Blue-Ray Disc and is the next generation optical disc format. The format was developed to enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video.

The Blu-Ray DVD format allows more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs and hold up to 25GB on a single-layer disc and 50 GB on a dual layer disc.  This combination of top-notch technology and extra storage offers home viewers an unprecedented viewing experience.

PC: Game of the Year

posted by admin

Though there’s often a lot of speculation about which title will be named game of the year in the various PC gaming publications, this year there’s no comparing to Bethesda Software’s Fallout 3.  The previous two PC games in the series, Fallout and Fallout 2, were cult classics regarded as excellent games, but unable to branch into the mainstream market.  However Fallout 3, combining elements of survival horror, shooting, and role-playing, marks a triumph of hybrid genre innovation.  The game features an eerie post apocalyptic landscape where the main character will be fighting zombies, mutants, and desperate survivors, in addition to trying to ward off radioactive poisoning.  Fallout 3’s combat system is one of its key innovations, combining the intensity of a shooting game with the strategy and finesse of a role-playing title.

If Fallout 3 doesn’t win PC game of the year, it will be fairly obvious the gaming publications are taking kickbacks from a rival gaming behemoth like Electronic Arts.
